The 2013 summer school will be held on the Pennsylvania State University's
University Park Campus

combine to offer a relaxed, college town atmosphere with many shops,
restaurants and points

Delta, United Express, and US Airways Express serve the University
Park Airport (State College PA, airport code SCE) located six miles
from the summer school
site. Connections can be made through
Detroit (DTW), Washington-Dulles (IAD), Philadelphia (PHL). Taxi and shared limousine services are
available at the State College/University Park Airport. Car
rental is available at the airport but is not needed. Airport shuttle is available for
participants staying at Days Inn Penn
State (prior to or upon arrival to the University Park Airport, call the hotel
at 814-238-8454 or 800-258-3297 to schedule courtesy airport pick-up).

Route I-99 connects State College with I-80 and I-70. The campus
is within driving distance of many major cities, including Harrisburg
(1.5 hours, 90 miles); Pittsburgh (3 hours, 137 miles); Philadelphia
(3.5 hours, 194 miles); Baltimore (3.5 hours, 155 miles); Washington,
D.C. (4 hours, 190 miles); and New York City (5 hours, 250 miles).

Greyhound, and discount
bus services are available from major cities to State College,
International participants arriving from outside
the United States with passports from 37 countries in the Visa
Waiver Program (VWP) who have machine-readable passports may be able to
a visa. However, a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization
(ESTA) approval is required for all participants in
VWP to travel to the United States. ESTA is a free, automated system used to determine the eligibility
of visitors to travel to the United States under the VWP. Participants from other countries will need a B-1 (business) visa or B-2 (tourist) visa.
