Summer School in Statistics for
Astronomers & Physicists
June 5-17, 2005



Session 1: Statistical Inference for Astronomy, June 5 – 10, 2005
Session 2: Spatial Processes and Image Analysis, June 12-14, 2005
Session 3: Computational Algorithms for Astrostatistics, June 15-17, 2005

Registration fees: $100 per Session. $225 for all three sessions.
Lodging during the sessions is being paid for all admitted participants. Participants may register for one session or any combination of sessions. Enrollment is limited to 25 participants per session.

Registration deadline: May 2, 2005 or enrollment limit is reached, which ever comes first.

You will be notified promptly of any cancellations or schedule or program changes. Conferences and Institutes will confirm your enrollment in the program and provide information on travel, accommodations, final registration, and parking.

Important Visa Information: International participants arriving from outside the United States will need a B-1 or WB (visa waiver business classification); B-2 or WT (visa waiver tourist classification). (more details ...)

Refunds and Cancellations: All cancellations must be received in writing by mail or fax. Full refunds will be made for cancellations received at least fifteen days prior to the first day of the program. Refund requests made after that time will not be honored, and the participant or sponsoring organization will be responsible for the fee. Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may send a substitute.

The University may cancel or postpone any course or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program is canceled or postponed, the University will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other related costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.
